Vision Education with two new clients: Oxford University Press and Berlitz Japan

We have some great news for you! VE with two new clients: Oxford University Press and Berlitz Japan.  The partnership is part of our SAAS (Software as a Service) model. Both providers rely on our world-leading and highly flexible technical platform.

What convinced our new education partners?

“Our technical platform, on which our two own apps “LearnMatch” and “LearnMatch Business” are also operated, convinced our new customers,” says Manfred Kastner, founder of Vision Education. With the successful concept of flexibility and the extensive possibilities, the platform was able to win over our partners in the language learning industry.

With the “Oxford English Vocabulary Trainer 2”, OUP acts as its own publisher worldwide. The Vision Education team was responsible for creating the app and integrating OUP’s high-quality content into the app. The app is available worldwide and already has a large number of users. OUP, as the largest university publisher in the world, embodies the vision: “Education can change lives”, and therefore OUP actively shapes the future of education.

The partnership with Berlitz Japan is based on the business part of the Vision Education platform – the “LearnMatch Business” app and was implemented in cooperation with a Japanese distribution partner. The focus here is particularly on children who want to learn English in a playful way. Children can pick up the nuances of a foreign language much easier and faster and are quite capable of speaking without an accent. Therefore, the focus of this collaboration is primarily on pronunciation exercises and an adequate implementation and presentation of the corresponding content.

Partnership with the Austrian Construction Guild

Vision Education is delighted by its partnership with the Austrian Construction Guild. Thanks to its ‘LearnMatch Business’ language-learning tool, it is now offering specialist German vocabulary for the construction industry

The construction trade is, without question, one of the most important drivers of the Austrian economy. One of the core points of the Federal Guild of Construction’s mission statement revolves around the transfer of knowledge. As part of further training courses, special attention is paid to teaching German in an industry-specific way.  ‘LearnMatch Business’ is considerably improving and, at the same time, making the communication among employees at the construction industry’s professional association much easier.

Multilingualism on construction sites? No problem!

The construction industry is indisputably one of the sectors of the country’s economy that are known for their international workforce. According to the monthly figures published by the BUAK (the Construction Workers’ Leave and Severance Fund), in 2019, a total of around 130,000 people were employed by Austrian companies. 37% (about 50,000) of these employees come from countries such as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Turkey, Bulgaria, Poland, or Hungary.

This makes construction sites a place of multilingualism. German is nevertheless considered to be the primary language of communication there. The technical vocabulary offered by LearnMatch Business was created in close collaboration with the Austrian construction industry. It offers the ideal industry-specific solution in this regard. Ultimately it guarantees that work can proceed smoothly. The language that is being learned, German, is taught bilingually with 17 different native languages.

Digital learning to boost both understanding and productivity

Thanks to the partnership WITH the Austrian Construction Guild and Vision Education, employees from an array of countries can receive tailor-made vocabulary and language training in their own native tongue. The ‘LearnMatch’ app’s intuitive and playful user interface enables them to quickly learn basic vocabulary related to everyday life.  But they can also build up specialist vocabulary.

As the saying goes: if you want to build a tall tower, you need to spend a long time on the foundation. And in this case, the foundation is the language we have in common.
